Bette Miller

Bette L. Miller, age 93, of Trufant passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her home. She was born on April 10, 1920 in Onieda Center, Grand Ledge, Michigan, the daughter of Roy & Viva (Weymouth) Hamilton. Both parents have preceded her in death as well as her husband, George A. Miller Sr., a son, Monty Miller, a sister, Edith Hamilton and three brothers, Grant, Leon and Ladd Hamilton.
Surviving are her children, George & Nancy Miller Jr. of Ionia, Mike & Linda Miller of Trufant, Dixie Miller of Palo, Rockne & Arlene Jo Miller of Lansing, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and her older brother, Don & Nancy Hamilton of Sierra Vista, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
Bette has been a resident of Trufant since 2009; she was formerly of Orleans, Ionia, Grand Ledge and Detroit.
Private family services will be held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Interment is at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Ionia, Michigan.
