Barb Alexander

Barbra Alexander, age 55, of Vestaburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 19, 2021, passing away at Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital in Lakeview.

While mourning the loss of her physical presence with them, Barb’s tremendous faith, her trust in God, and acceptance of Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior has given her family the strength, courage, and peace of mind needed to move forward. In addition to her faith, Barb’s love and devotion to her husband was unwavering. Barb was a great woman who helped many people throughout her lifetime. She was a school counselor for Vestaburg Public Schools, a volunteer with many organizations, and an active member of her church community. She loved spending time at her cottage up north and just recently started enjoying fishing as a hobby. The world was made better because of the contributions Barb made and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Surviving Barb is her mother, Betty (Doug) Hoek; father, Roger (Darlene) Frost; husband, Mark Alexander; daughters, Jill (Ben) Peelle, Jaclyn (Mike) Helmer, Rachel Alexander (Gilbert Hernandez); son, Trent (Bianca) Alexander; grandchildren, Ella, Olivia, Eliza, Shaun, Henry, and Penelope; sisters, Brenda (James) Bond and Amy (Erik) Rasmussen, brother, Andrew (Cindy) Frost; many nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.

Visitation for Barb is being held on Friday, November 26th, from 5 to 7 PM at Victory Church in Mt. Pleasant (2445 S. Lincoln Street).

Funeral services celebrating Barb’s life will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, November 27th, at Victory with Pastor Dar Blanshan officiating. To live stream the funeral service to go www.victorymtp.com and follow the link. Barb will be laid to rest at Richland Township Cemetery.
