Barbara Turley

Barbara Jo Turley, age 62 of Lakeview and Daytona Beach, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the home of her sister in Bellville, Texas. She was born on May 25, 1950 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Harold & Colleen (Boelema) Cornelisse.
Barbara was married to Bernard Zweifach on November 8, 1975 and he preceded her in death on April 21, 1997. She was then married to Arthur Turley on December 17, 1999 and he died on February 21, 2011. Also preceding her in death was her father, Harold Cornelisse & step mother, Florence Cornelisse and her step father, Maurice Langfeldt.
Surviving Barbara is her mother, Colleen “Cookie” Langfeldt of Lakeview, Michigan 2 sisters, Bonnie & David Faterkowski of Bellville, Texas, Brenda & Tom Ford of Lakeview, Michigan, 1 brother, Robert & Linda Cornelisse of Scottville, Michigan, 4 step sisters, Cheryl & Tom Story of Scottville, Michigan, Lynn Delaney of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Maureen Smith and Christa Holly, both of Ludington, Michigan, 1 half brother, Harold & Hayley Cornelisse of Grand Rapids, Michigan, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Audry & Chuck Barrie.
Barbara has been a summer resident of Lakeview, Michigan and spent her winters in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Lakeview Free Methodist Church, she freely gave of her time to volunteer at the Lakeview Schools and truly loved working with children.
A memorial service beginning at 11:00 A.M. will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Lakeview Free Methodist Church, Lakeview, Michigan with Pastors Ted Johnson and Dave Waid officiating.
A second memorial service beginning at 11:00 A.M. will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Living Cornerstone Church in Port Orange, Florida with Pastors Ramona and Howard Chadwick officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial considerations can be made to either the Lakeview Free Methodist Church, Lakeview, Michigan 48850 or to Hospice.
