Barbara Jean Kreeger

Barbara Jean Kreeger, of Dearborn Heights, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the age of 63 at the Imperial Healthcare Center.

Born in Greenville, the daughter of Owen & Ruth (Harling) Kreeger, both of whom preceded Barbara in death in addition to her brothers, Truman Bryan and Glenn Kreeger as well as her step-father David Anthony.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Boni Hudson-LaChance of Grand Rapids; niece, Holly Patenge and her children, Leah, Chelsea, Andrew and Annaliese, all of Fremont; two nephews, John R. Hudson III of Sheridan and his daughter, Shanda & Brian Hopkins of Greenville and Edward & Kelle Hudson of Fenwick and their children, Travis & Stacey Hudson of Arkansas, Jessica & Devon Bryan of Maryland, Rebekah Hudson and Amelia Hudson, both of Fenwick as well as numerous Kreeger & Harling cousins. Barbara is also survived by her very special care giver, Bettie Johnson of Inkster and her social worker Sue Mys of Wayne.

For 40 years, Barbara attended a workshop in Wayne, Michigan entitled “Services To Enhance Potential” (STEP). She taught everyone the true meaning of unconditional love and happiness. Barbara will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Graveside services for Barbara are being held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Sheridan Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Phil VanDop officiating.
