Angela Lofts

Angela Lofts, age 63 of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids.

Having run a daycare business for 43 years, Angie impacted the lives of countless people in the community. For the past two years she worked for EDUStaff, helping children with special needs. Angie’s fun-loving spirit was contagious and she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially around a bonfire with an occasional cold Oberon. Angie also loved looking for great bargains and deals at yard sales and looked forward to the Wheatland Music festival each year. When she needed some alone time to recharge herself, Angie liked tending to her flowers and plants. She was also a member of the Stanton American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving Angie are her children, Shannon Oswald (Steve King) of Gowen; Jarod Lofts (Amanda Cass) of Belding; Matt Lofts of Greenville; mother, Marilyn Oswald of Sidney; grandchildren, Lillian Oswald and Devon Hoard both of Belding; Vinnie Powell and Max Powell both of Gowen; sister Teresa Oswald (Hank Chachulski) of Greenville.

Angie is preceded in death by her father, Diz Oswald; brother, Greg Oswald and sister, Candice Oswald.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be on Saturday, November 24th 2018 at 12:00 Noon, at the Stanton American Legion.
