Allie "Peggy" Kosten

Allie “Peggy” Kosten, age 83, of Fenwick, passed away at Sheridan Hospital on Friday, December 24, 2021.

Peggy was the oldest of 5 children and was the last remaining member of her family. She worked on the family farm for 50+ years. Peggy was a great cook and baker, she enjoyed doing puzzles, knitting, and making diamond art. However, the thing Peggy enjoyed the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving Peggy is her husband, Ken Kosten, sons, Michael (Barb) Kosten of Fenwick, Thomas (Jeanne) Kosten of Cobb, California; grandchildren, Kristina Kosten of Fenwick, Timothy Kosten of Fenwick, Kaila Kosten of Grand Rapids, niece, Rosemary Hyde of Greenville; sister-in-law, Mary Adams of Sheridan; and her good friend, Carol Jaque of Houghton Lake.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Adel & Madeline (Meyers) Homes; siblings, Kathy Sprank, Karl Homes, Dale Homes, Nancy Homes; and stepdaughter, Lori Kosten.

A Celebration of Peggy’s life is being held on Thursday, December 30th, from 3 to 5 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.). Please feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.
