Albertha Mae Sagryn

Albertha Mae Sagryn, age 73 of Stanton passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Grand Rapids at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus.

She was born the daughter of David & Pearl Woudwyk in Grand Rapids on October 21, 1943 and they along with her brother, Robert Spinkler and son-in-law, John Allen have preceded her in death.

Albertha is survived by her children, Debbie (David) Ackley of Six Lakes, Annette (Tim) Buskirk of Edmore, Bryan (Dawn) Craigmyle of Stanton, James (Mary) Sagryn of Stanton, Leslie Sagryn of North Carolina; sister, Elisie Moore of Stanton; brother, Bill (Polly) Collar of Arizona; twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.

From the day her family introduced Albertha to a computer she was hooked, especially Facebook. She loved playing games, checking on her family and commenting on various stories and posts. She was an animal lover at heart and especially loved cats and dogs. She enjoyed crocheting and making cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Visitation with Albertha’s family will be on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services for Albertha are being held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 AM, also at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan. Graveside services will be held at McBride Cemetery.
