Adam P. Cope, age 42, of Lakeview, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Maybe the only thing bigger than Adam’s sense of humor and ability to make you laugh, was his heart. If you needed something you could always count on Adam to be there for you, ready to help out. While some of his favorite hobbies included hunting and riding his motorcycle, Adam’s most favorite thing and what he loved the most was his children and granddaughter, who he would do anything for. Adam was a fantastic father and cherished the time he spent with his kids; he will be dearly missed by everyone. Adam also loved his mom, whom he is now reunited with in heaven.
Surviving Adam is his dad and stepmom, Steve & Fay Cope; wife, Keely Cope; children, Mackenzie Cope, Serenity Cope, Trulilly Mata, and Giovanni Mata; granddaughter, Anastasia; siblings, Steve (Jennifer) Avery, Jessica (Joe) Merritt, Jennifer Bliss, Derek (Rachel) Cope, Richard (Autumn) Clark, Nick (LaTara) Wieland, Nathea (Nate) Buckmaster, Justin “Bug” Clark, Dennis Lance, Tara (Will) Jones, Lacey Turnes, Nicole Clark, and Michelle Clark; several aunts and uncles; and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Adam was preceded in death by his mom, Jean Lance; stepdad, Dick Clark, and mother-in-law, Connie Roberts.
Visitation for Adam is being held on Sunday, May 1st at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan (246 S. Main St.) from 3 to 6 pm.
Funeral services for Adam will be on Monday, May 2nd at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan beginning at 11 AM. Graveside services will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Belding immediately following the funeral.
