Obituary

Michael Alan Raymor, age 59 of Stanton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

You never had to question where you stood with Mike or what was on his mind as he wouldn’t hesitate to tell you. A collector of everything, Mike loved finding odd and unusual items to collect. He loved going hunting and fishing, he was a big Detroit Tigers and Lions fan, he really liked old Clint Eastwood cowboy movies and learning about the Civil War. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Airforce and worked at Electrolux for 25 years.

Mike is survived by his parents, William & Jane (Fleagle) Raymor of Beaverton; wife, Marsha Raymor of Stanton; son, William Raymor of Stanton; daughters, Elizabeth Baker (Rob Beam) of Alma; Danielle Reed (Tim Wellman) of Alma; grandchildren, Ean; Kaleb; Kamryn; Kennedy; Elisa; Sophia; Chloe; sisters, Loretta (Justin) Todd, Tonya Raymor; brothers, Bill (Karen) Raymor; Rob Raymor; Dave Paul Raymor; Don (Candy) Raymor; Brian Raymor and friends, Tim Lewis; Derek Lewis; Rick Churchill and his two beloved dogs, Jake & Tiger.

Mike was preceded in death by a nephew, J.J. Raymor.

Visitation for Mike will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home in Sheridan.

In lieu of flowers Mike’s family is asking for help as they deal with his sudden death and donations can be made by clicking on the "contribute to final expenses" link.

My heart goes out to Mike's family. I grew up going to church with the Raymor boys at Pine Grove Church. Mike was my boyfriends when we were so young that having a boyfriend meant someone to sit with at church. RIP Mike.

May you have joy in the memories of your loved one. (2 Corinthians 1:2-4) The
Bible gives real hope of being reunited again with your loved one. It promises
that your loved one will soon come back to life in the resurrection to a beautiful,
peaceful paradise on the earth. (John 5:28, 29)

Sincerely,

S. Ellis
