Obituary for Lloyd Lund

Lloyd L. Lund, age 86, of St. Johns, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Hazel Findlay Country Manor in St. Johns.

Lloyd was a guy who loved adventure and trying new things. Throughout his lifetime he lived in many different places throughout the country. He was a tremendous cook and owned and operated Frank-n-Beef Coney Island in Ionia for many years. Lloyd proudly served in the United States Army during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He never passed up a good western movie and enjoyed his crossword puzzles. However, the thing Lloyd liked the best was being a dad and grandpa; he loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them.

Surviving Lloyd are his children, Martin (Lisa) Lund of Sheridan; Leslie (Fred) Cantwell of Grand Ledge; Deanna Lund of DeWitt; Victoria Lund of Grand Rapids; Gina (Mike) O’Reilly of Fraser; Kirk Draney of Utah; grandchildren, David (Sarah) Lund; Daniel (Tabitha) Tranchmontagne; Maria O’Reilly; Anna Graham; Amy Graham; Stephanie Allen; Justin Venn; Beau (Jessi) Draney; Kaelani Draney; Scott Draney; Aaron Draney; Hannah Lund; Michael Cantwell; Lisa Cantwell; Nikki Alana; Rick (Mary) Alana; Joseph Alana; Emily Alana; many great grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Arlean (Clark) Lund; daughter, Leisa Lund; sisters, Eileen Lower and Deborah Hendricks; cousin, Russell Lund; and best friend, Stuart Swift.
