Obituary

Joyce Pennock, 85, of Dickerson Lake, passed away at home on Friday, September 4, 2020, under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice.

Joyce was born on April 25, 1935 in Stanton, the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle (Hall) Henry. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, word searches, and fishing. Most of all though, she loved watching tv! She was known to have the tv on 24/7 and if someone was to turn it off, she would come right behind them and turn it back on. She enjoyed anything western and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune.

Surviving Joyce are her children; Kenny (Elvira) Humphrey of Williston, Florida, Roger (Verna) Humphrey of Greenville, Louann (Tim) Lawens of Stanton, Bill Humphrey (Jennifer Harvey) of Orlando, Florida. Eight grandkids, 21 great grandkids with one on the way. Her siblings; Betty Hodges of Stanton, William Jeffrey of Sheridan, David (Lois) Henry of Belding, and her special friend; Ruth Krum, along with many other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; George Pennock, sisters; Arlene Dickenson, Ruby LaVallee, her brothers; Archie (Pat) Jeffrey and Buster Hall.

Graveside funeral services for Joyce will be on Tuesday, September 8th at Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan, at Noon, with Pastor Alan Flowers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
