Kenneth W. Dwight

Kenneth W. Dwight, age 64, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. He was born on February 18, 1946 in Battle Creek, the son of Wayne & Norrine (Foster) Dwight. Both parents have preceded him in death.

On June 20, 1970, Kenneth was married to the former Sandra Teesdale in a ceremony held in her parent’s yard. Sandra survives in addition to their children, Kenneth N. & Eve Dwight of Stanton, Annette Mertens of Gladwin, Michelle & Delbert Vance of Howard City and Kathy Dwight of Sheridan plus six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Francis Cole of White Cloud.

Kenneth has been resident of the Sheridan area since moving here from Grand Rapids in 1976.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan, with Mr. Mike Wright officiating. Interment will be at the Lane Cemetery, Onondaga, Michigan.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan.

The family has suggested for those desiring to do so, that memorial considerations can be made to the American Cancer Society. There will be envelopes available at the funeral home.

Our hearts are so sadened, but we must agree he is in a better place and in no more pain. Uncle Ken will be missed by many and will never be forgottened.
