Charles B. Leach

Charles B. Leach, age 87, of Lansing passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in Lansing. He was born on January 25, 1923, in Perry, Michigan, the son of Fred & Gurtha (McKie) Leach.

On February 22, 1964, Charles was married to Margueritte P. Robinson and she survives in addition to a daughter, Sharon Moody of Ruskin, Florida, a son, Dennis R. Krum of Laingsburg, Michigan, three grandchildren, Randy, Julie and Jamie plus six great grandchildren, one brother, Fred & Gleta Leach of Haslett, Michigan and two special friends, Carol Krum of Holt, Michigan and Violet Beardsley of Big Rapids, Michigan

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Keith R. Krum, a son-in-law, Roy Moody, a brother, Lawrence and a sister Ethel.

Charles has been a longtime resident of Lansing where he retired as a truck driver for Martin Redi Mix Company. In addition, he was a US Army veteran of World War II.

Funeral services will be held at the Simpson Family Funeral Home, Sheridan, Michigan on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jamey Nichols officiating, with military rites following the funeral service. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan, Michigan.

Visitation at the funeral home will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday where friends and relatives may meet with the family.

The family has suggested for those desiring to do so, that memorial considerations can be made to Hospice of Lansing. There will be envelopes available at the funeral home.
